Oral pathology refers to diseases of the jaw bones, soft tissues of the face, and oral cavity. Oral pathology will often require a biopsy where a sample of the tissue is sent to a specialist who will look at the specimen under a microscope in order to confirm the diagnosis. We can then determine if any additional treatment is required.
